| PAPGPC Training Modules Are Ready For You |

New Online Self-Paced Training Modules, Learn Online When You Want
To help PAPGPC members maintain the highest professional standards, the Association has created an on-line, self-study education program. Use these sessions to review and confirm what you know, learn new and helpful information, or simply increase your confidence if you are new to the job.
The training modules will provide all members a means to achieve training credits from the convenience of their own computers. We look forward to having this on-line education program as one way to meet our goals.
What Are The Courses?
There are currently two sessions being offered:
1. Basic Training in LPS & Probate Conservatorships, this training module is a study and review of basic LPS and probate conservatorship procedures. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive 2 credits. Course #L7001
2. Public Administration Basics, this training session is divided into three parts. You will receive 2 credits for each part upon successful completion of the exams. You may take each part individually.
a. Part I covers public administration basics from beginning to end -- introduction, initial involvement and preliminary investigation - 2 credits. Course #L7002
b. Part II covers the results of investigation, preparation for court appointment - 2 credits. Course #L7003
c. Part III covers marshalling assets, creditors, inventory & appraisal, liquidation of assets, accounting, and distribution - 2 credits. Course #L7004
How to Enroll
1. First, send an email to gene@medallionenterprises.com with the course number and payment method (check, Visa, MC, Amex). You can even purchase the course access in the store! Each course costs $100. You must include the email address that you will use to take the course.
2. When your payment is processed, you will be registered in the course. You will receive a confirmation via email with your user name and password. You are then free to take the course at any time.
Procedure For Taking The Courses
1. Once you are registered, you will receive your user name and password. You cannot receive credit for a class unless you are registered and have successfully completed the exam.
2. You will access the class through Blackboard Learning Systems. Their website provides full instructions on how to use the course material and access the online training programs.
3. All the course materials are accessed through the Blackboard website. The training is offered both in Word and PowerPoint formats.
4. The exams are password protected. Once you complete the reading materials and feel confident enough to take the exam, you will receive the password to take the exam online.
5. Upon successful completion of the exam, PAPGPC will receive notification to give you the earned credits. You will know your answers, whether they are correct, and the final score, but not the correct answers for the exam.
Additional Courses Are Coming Soon
Additional courses are being prepared and will be made available on the Association website at www.capapgpc.org as soon as the Standards & Certification Board approves them for release.
Get Credit For Outside Training
If you have taken training other than at the Association Conference, you may be able to receive credit for those hours. There is an application and fee for requesting training be approved by the Association.
