Membership Benefits
The California Association of Pubic Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators is designated by the State of California Judicial Council as the certifying body for all Pubic Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators. Certification is required by law. (Probate Code §1456.2) Only members can be certified.
Certification
The California Association of Pubic Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators provide training and continuing education for certification. Members receive a registration discount at the statewide annual conference. Training is also available at regional conferences and on-line.
Networking
Through the California Association of Pubic Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators website, the membership roster and by attending conferences, members have the opportunity to communicate and network about policies, funding and other issues faced by PA/PG/PC staff. This offers the ability to learn from staff in other counties and receive support for this challenging work.
Legislative Education
The California Association of Pubic Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators provide members with up-to-date information affecting Guardianship and Administrator programs. Membership provides the opportunity to support legal advocates for this unique field.
